I just stumbled on this site today and what I've seen so far it ROCKS. I just got a smoker today BRINKMANN SMOKE'N GRILL just a little guy. I have used regular grills for years but i have always loved smoked food so it is time for a new adventure.

Richtee 03-09-2009, 06:37 AM Welcome Voch! MANY people use that li'l El Cheapo Brinkmann (ECB) smoker! As Texas-Hunter said, there's a few minor things to tune up on it and it's a smokin' machine! Biggest one...a coal basket for the charcoal. HUGE improvement there!

Thanks for the warm welcome. well I finally got my smoker put together today and I'm curing it since it is new. Texas-Hunter thanks for the link to the fire pan mods I think thats just what I needed for it.

Careful...Ya might just become a Q addict....I got my start 30 years ago with a little Brinkman, and then graduated to a Brinkman Double Smoker, and now today I have a trager, and a 1/2 dozen homemade smokers, a homemade drum, a gas grill, (that I RARELY use) and an electric grill (that I never use). :welcome: /B]
