Nice haul. Just picked my 3 pumpkins yesterday ( big moon) Still need to harvest my butternut. I see you grew them delicata squash (sugar dumplings) I tried one year but the crossed with the goards and didn't look too good.

Wish I could raise a garden here. I'll just have to settle for looking at the great produce you get from yours.

Very nice, BG. Butternut are my favorite winter squash.
Question for you - has it already frosted up there? Just asking because my experience with winter squash is that unless the vines get a good frost, the squash tends to not keep as long over the winter.

Had a discussion about this with an old truck farmer in the area and he claimed that there was actually a chemical reaction that takes place in the rine of a winter squash or pumkin that essentially hardens them up and "cures" them once the vine is frozen/frosted down.

At any rate - that is one hell of a haul ya got and will produce many of the for a good long while!
