Hey folks, Oct 2nd is the annual Flushing harvest festival rib competition. Great place to show off your talents at cooking ribs. Very fun event with a low stress level.

My wife and I are gonna team up as " Lucky Man BBQ". I sincerely hope some of the S-M ribmasters can attend and give me some lessons. I know Richtee" T-Bonz" wil lbe there too. He has been 2nd place for the last two years, and is indeed hungry for the 1st place Honors.

Go to the link I posted and spyderMike has a pdf link to the rules and registration. Lots of stuff for the family and kids to do. They block off the main 4 corners of the city for a couple blocks each way.

The pie auction is worth the drive.
