09/18/10 Wedding Cake

Here's another wedding cake I did. This one for my niece, Kristina. I don't have any prep pics as I was cutting it short on time. My Mom baked these cakes last week, wrapped them in foil and froze them. We packed them in a cooler for the 4 hour drive. I iced, decorated and assembled this in less than 2 hours at the church. My Mom did all my prep work at the church and 90% of the clean up (I just love my Mom!)

Bottom tier is 16" chocolate, middle 12" white and top is 8" chocolate. Here are the bottom tiers assemble and I was just about to put the top tier on.

Marty, I don't want the word to spread. I professionally decorated from 1989 - 1994. Now I just do special occasions for family and close friends. It's too much work to do when you're not in the bakery with everything you need right at your finger tips.
