Same theory behind a MAGNUM style webber kettle....A 55 gallon drum is used in between top and bottom....
I have 2 extra kettles and want to try it...

Except it's a more reasonable diameter. I'd like to smack someone at Weber for making the stock WSM 3" short of a decent rack of ribs :rant:

Hmmm..on a smokey joe, i wonder if ya can use one of them 30 gal barrels, like the ones for pneumatic greasers. :noidea:

Yeah, I have read a lot of people say the same thing. I've had the 18" kettle and its a bitch to fit a nice full rack on.
