  • 20 pounds of CB

Life hasn't been the same since I ran out of my 1st Canadian Bacon.

They had whole loins on sale for $1.99/lb. So I got two. One is 9lbs, the other 11.5 lbs!

Did the big one with TQ, brown sugar and a touch of maple syrup.

Mixed up some of the savory/spicy rub from Shooters Canadian Bacon Tutorial.

Got that ready for the cure too.

Ten days later, they're ready for the smoke!

Cooked at 225* with hickory on my gas grill.

    Had to make some ABTs

And a fatty. Sweet on the left, spicy on the right. Some grilled veggies and cooked bacon in the middle.

    Pretty ugly weave job.

The ABTs got attacked before I got a money shot. But here's the fatty.

    CB is Done!

    Sweet

    Spicy Savory Shooter Rick's

Thanks for checking out my smoke. Got to get to bed, can't wait until breakfast!
