Been looking around the safety section to find an answer to this scenario....
You've smoked a brisket or a butt, and didn't get it all eaten or put in the freezer. Wife had some dinners planned for you so you didn't get to eat leftovers like you wanted. How long do you consider it good to eat before throwing it out. Assume that you have a decent fridge at the correct temps with little variation.

Milk is good past the exiration date by many days...so the question is this...what's your reality land limit for bbq?
