Wood fired pizza has a great brick oven taste and we really enjoy pizza bake in the Traeger so the girls made a nice and not to complex pizza.
I got out the pizza stone and put it in the Traeger. This stone has to go in cold oven or it will crack. I learned this by experience.
I did a normal start up procedure, set the temperature too high and waited for the stone to heat up to 500 degrees. This took about 28 minutes, put on the pizza and reset the traeger temperature to 400 degrees
Eighteen minutes later the pizza was baked.
We like thin crust and this is as thin as we can get it. Tasted great and I must say the girls did a good job.
