  • I Put The Wood To The Cheddar........

Smoked up some Cheddar with Hickory, for about 2 hours on the Ronco Ghetto Cheese smoker (tm)..... Then vac packed & into the fridge for T-Day.... I have not tasted any of it yet, but it sure smelled good sitting in the garage..... I sat a bbq stir fry tray, upside down, over the heat/smoke vent on my CookShack & covered with a cardboard box with some holes poked in the top of it... Then it started to rain hard, which was making the "ghetto smoker box" unuseable.... So I pulled it off & let it rest for about 45 minutes, then vac packed... Looks Good!!!

aww damn, Scott! I need to get off me arse and smoke up another batch of cheddar. My dad had some poked in the back of the fridge when we went hunting.. it didn't last long!

Temps are finally low enough here I can stock back up.

on the reload for the ghetto smoker and the reminder

Nice, It is that time again. While Deer hunting, a store had all their Kraft Cheese on sale for 10, 8oz. blocks for $10.00 I got alot of sharps and extra sharps and 1, Maj.7th. Now I just have to pick up a pork loin for some little 1 pound hams and make some crackers for stocking stuffers.

                          Todd,

Are you trying to get me fired? I think I owe them for a monitor now, and will have to reprint a desk full of engineering drawings! That's frickin hilarious!

I thought you might like that, but what are you doing on this board anyhow when your at work? Your an engineer for gods sake, in charge of making important structural decisions to make sure the public is safe. Playin around on the job is how we ended up with the Ford Pinto and the leaning tower of Pisa.
