  • Thanksgiving/holiday recipes...

    other than the basics like Turkey, ham, taters, green bean caserole, etc... what are your favorite recipes? the family has decided to do a potluck style meal again this year and i'm sick of doing the "usuals". my cousin and I want to do a fried turkey, but that is going into "gramma territory" and it's on the verge of disrespectful. no worries... I just need to steal the leg first this year. lol

    anyway, what you guys got? looking for something good here...

        We are hosting this year & it's the normal stuff, wife won't let me inject, smoke or otherwise F with the turkey....

        My creative addition will be the Morton's recipe Salami in the smoker right now, Pecan smoked Tillamook cheddar, Hickory smoked Tillamook & Smoked King Salmon Cream Cheese dip.....

            Got some freshly smoked cheese but it won't be as aged as Scott's.

            Ann bought two turkeys so I imagine I can do whatever I want with the second one. Except the damn thing is 22 pounds and won't fit in my brining container.
