  • Irish Whiskey help!!

    Hi all!
Been MIA this week.. what a week.. anyhow, I am smoking a butt prolly tomorrow or Monday for my sammie business and I want to mop it with an Irish whiskey. I am not a "whiskey girl" Any suggestions on what Irish whiskey I should use or does it matter since its a mop?
    Thanks for you help!

Sister, just get the cheap stuff. Matt bought this in Shannon Ireland when he flew back from Afghanistan. Paid about 80 bucks for it. Nice stuff.

I'm not a big Irish whiskey fan, but Tullamore Dew is impressive, and mid-line priced.

Been wondering where ya been Kelly. I'd go with Jameson. mainly because thats the only Irish whiskey i've drank. It's an easy drink, goes down nicelyl.

I have been just busy! thanks for all the suggestions, I don't drink whiskey, I guess being Irish I should aquire the taste... just thinking about the smell gives me "that face" then comes the shudder down the back of my spine!

I have two corned beefs to smoke too... to be served with a Guinness mayo...
I have a lot of smoking in the next two days..l I will post the corned beef prolly tomorrow..

                  Thanks again you all!

Hey BBQGoddess. If you are keeping in tune with St Patty`s day. The most recognized Irish whiskey is Jamiesons. Bushmills is from the north and is a little more "peaty" then the southern cousin. At the end of the day it is all good. Especially if you leave some for sipping.
                    "Slante" (cheers in Irish)
