  • Done sum Cheese!!!

    smoked sum cheese on sunday ....having a christmas party at work in about 2 weeks so making some of this for appertizer......

    the stars of the show.....got pepper jack , chedder , swiss , and some very good extra sharp


    unwrapped and on a plate and back into the fridge to dry out a little


    ok in the smoker with some hickory and a little bit of cherry
    cold smoking under 90 degrees for 2-3 hrs


    after a couple of hours and a flip here they are ...they been sweating for about 45 minutes...looks and smells good


    all package up and going into the fridge to mellow for about 2 weeks...also did a little sample pack for my father in law...he loves smoke cheese

            Check your settings...maybe you have a light setting wrong...or the zoom maybe?? I cleared mine up a bit by removing the zoom I had set up.

                Great looking cheese. I have yet to try that. As freakin' cold as it is here, now would be a good time for a cold smoke.

                        Yummo on the cheese! That should be a reminder to any of us who plan to serve or give some smoked cheese for the holidays! Let's get on it man!

                          Gotta give the cheese another try. Although I am still a bit gun shy after last months meltdown

                          Got a few big blocks in the fridge, guess I should get on it if we're to have any for the holidays.

                          That'll be some good cheese ya got going there, but wheres MY sample pack?
