Thanks to Rich, I got some celery stalk powder in the mail the other day.
Was schedualed to do a grill session for a memorial reception yesterday.
Used my new batch of Mad Hunky on some pork cushions and whipped up a custum rub for some tri-tips. Also on tap my special meatballs. First off I used the celery on the tri-tip rub and was very pleased with the flavor before the rub, but lost most of it after the cook. Very mild I could have used much more. Second I added it to my veg mix that goes from frying pan to the meatball mixture. Conclusion; it has an amazing ability to "pull" flavors together. Probably why mirepoix has such an important role in so many dishes.

Very nice...going to be doing a batch in my dehydrators with some garlic,onion and assorted herbs myself shortly...I am going to weigh before and after....

OK We would like to try it out also... Where did you all find it...
Found Celery Power at A1 spice World but it ended up to be celery power with out the stalk...

Any help???

It's the second most expensive ingredient, behind the Hunky paprika.
