  • going old school on sunday again

i was not about to stand out in the rain, then ice, then snow, & howling wind to do 2 roasts.
i needed to heat the kitchen w/ the oven anyway so i went w/ mom's traditional sunday pot roast.

    5lbs. of top round rubbed w/ fajita spice,garlic pwdr,& hot paprika,added 1/2 a killians red beer,worchy,& beef base
    taters,onion,celery,carrots,scallions,corn,butter beans,& butter.
    350 covered for 2.5 hrs.
i strained off all that juice, reduced a bit,& made brown gravy.
    served w/ wife's homemade rolls.

    brink vertical charcoal(the carp)
    18" old smokey charcoal grill/smoker
    cast iron Hibachi
    22" Kettle w/ "Smoke-EZ" styled riser extension
    & rotisserator
12x7 wells cargo vending trailer(mods in progress)
stuffer, slicer & more carp than i can fit in it...
Marshall amps & various awesome guitars,drums,P.A.,etc.recording studio.....

    Looks Good!

Ya cant go wrong with a dish like that, looks good and I bet it tasted better

Yesterday was one of those days, slow cooker loin for me.

Forgot to even check the weather down by you yesterday. I have another house in North Central KY that I usually keep an eye on the weather to see what it is doing down there.

At least your probably wont last all week like they say it is going to be here. 9 degrees now.....
