  • Afterburner Charcoal Chimney Clod Tenders with Herb De Provence Roasted Sesame Reds

I wanted a charcoal fired steak tonight, but I don't have a charcoal grill...Necessity being the mother of invention, check out my After burner Charcoal chimney clod tenders........

Got me a rolling fire in the charcoal chimney...I use my Turkey burner and flame on! The beauty of this is that you can use the turkey burner as a heat assist for really throwing a sear at the steaks.

Here is the victim tonight...a clod tender rubbed with montreal steak seasoning. These are great as medalion steaks or mock tenderloins.

    Steaks are on...

Here they are after taking a bit of a rest...

Plated with a stripe of raspberry chipotle glaze and some sesame, Herb de Provence and parmesean roasted red potatoes. I also hit them with some of Bassman's Jalapeno salt...MMMMMMmmmm

We also had a side salad and a tall glass of milk...Delicious!

Those look awesome! I never knew what herbs de provence was until I was in the Natural Grocer store looking at herbs and spices. Found out the little purple things in there is lavender. I'd still eat some of your steaks.
