2 1lb boxes of split peas
      20 cups of water
a ham bone with ham and some more ham
      1 lb carrots

Cook on med heat covered till the peas turn to mush .about 4 hrs or so .I used a ham bone from Honey Baked Ham.Stir every hr or so to keep from sticking .

Heck yeah. The picture looks good. A few more details would be nice, but I guess it'd be pretty hard to mess up split pea soup too bad.
