  • Time!

Seems some more posts have been found from the past... thought I'd post this one ... entertaining anyway...and has a kernel of truth-
    --------
Time time TIME! everyone wants to know "how long?!?".

No one KNOWS people! You are looking at a possible 4 hour or more window with larger cuts...

The cooler is your friend... look up the cooler method.

Start early. Don't panic. Look up the time/temp tables THAT ARE ONLY AN ESTIMATE.

BBQ is done by TEMP, and at LOW temps...it is not a fast process..planning is KEY.

    Ok...phew...

The attached file doesn't tell you how long, but it does track/chart your smoke. Over time and many smokes the data could be useful I guess. On the second sheet you enter the data: Cooker Temp, Meat Temp, Outdoor Temp and Time (one set per line) Once the data is entered the chart on the first sheet is updated. Like I say, probably not worth much, but kind of cool anyways ......
