Hey guys, I've got a GOSM that I've owned for several years, smoked lots of ribs, chicken, beef, turkey on it....
Lately it's been blowing a flame through the holes on the metal gas tubing, that's before it gets to the actual burner.
Never saw it do this before. Perhaps the main line is clogged up further down? Any suggestions? I was thinking of trying to blow some compressed air in there.

Check to make sure you don't have some kind of dirt dabber or spider nest in your gas line - has happened before. Clean the linem, check the fittings and test it. Be safe - good luck.

They actually make a small brush for cleaning venturi tubes...Hmmm- seen it last week somewhere... but yeah, clogged tube/burner holes sounds logical.

Thanks guys. I'd been on here a few years ago but was inactive and either I forgot my login/password or it was purged. So here I am again!
