    custom grates

    well guys, in an attempt to get some cash flow, i am going to offer my welding services again. since a sheet of expanded metal seems pretty cheap right now, as well as the angle or channel iron, i am thinking it'd be good to get some orders in before steel prices go up like they are expected to do in the relatively near future. let me know what sizes, shapes, and quantities you are looking at and I will get you a price.

    SmokeFreak has already received his from around Thanksgiving... i'm sure he will be more than happy to talk about their quality (he already has. lol)

    Indeed...These are just what I wanted...A perfect fit...They are well seasoned and have been put to the test...They woork great...great grates...

                  Do you take PayPal?

                  It seems that UPS shipping isn't too outrageous from Omaha to Corning even for weights up to 10 pounds. I got a couple of ideas for things I'd like made.

                  I saw a cool design for a UDS diffuser plate on another forum. Guy was supposed to PM me after Thanksgiving about making me one. Still haven't heard from him.

                      Hey Andy, I might need your services as well. I toasted the grate that is at the top of the Klose's firebox, by using it at the bottom to keep the coals from falling through the huge holes in the existing coal grate. The top grate is supposed to be used for grilling steaks and such. I'd like to get another one made, and quite possibly get something fabbed for the coal grate.

                      I'll send you some dimensions later this week...

                        I'm kind of on a short leash right now as far as ordering Q'ing toys. But I'd definitely like to get some pricing info.

                          no worries. now that i am getting busier, it is easier to get budget prices out... it's easier to get prices done when you know what materials actually cost and you don't have to turn to your suppliers every 5 minutes. lol

                              In my opinion the price was very reasonable but if he can cut ya all a good deal by having several of ya order at the same time...I say dangit man...do it...
