            hmmm... I usually just throw them in the garbage disposal and let it run for a bit, then fish 'em out.

              Ain't happenin...on a septic tank. Won't let Louie have a disposal, use it for compost or the worm bed. Her Daddy loves to freshwater fish.

                    What was she peeling and where were they from?

                    Pretty good tip, but I think I could peel a bunch more potatoes in the time it would take to set up the boiling and ice water, of course they wouldn't be as clean.

                    Oh and Mary Ann lives just a few miles from me.
