  • Steak ALa UDS

well me and the wife wanted some sirloins tonight so with a quick change around on the UDS i had a grill with some lump and hickory going as hot as i can get it.....

marianted some sirloins with some Yoshidas ( DAmn good stuff i gotta say )
Black pepper , seasoning salt , and oregano.....marinate for about 4 hours

when the UDS was ready threw the steaks on and cooked for about 8-10 minutes each side

the wife and kids dont like their steak raw so i had to cook them to about medium well....i personally like my steak medium rare to meduim depending on the steak.. finally done and rested

then here is my plate ready to eat ...baked tater and homemade sourdough bread ....wife told me that i needed some salad but just didnt have room

overall i really liked using the UDS for a grill it was easy to convert and easy to shut down when i was done......hope you all enjoy my Saturday Dinner

That's a good looking plate, Mike. You're right, I don't think you need a salad with that.

Very nice! And tell your wife to get bigger plates!

I use the WSM like that once in a while. Usually use my added lowest grill supports for grilling. (Actually it's my heat deflector support...hehe)
