Just curious what y'all use to lube the seal on yer Stainless steel injectors...I just used mine for the first time and want to lube it before I store it away...
Seems mineral oil's the main lube by consensus, unless you buy that fancy commercial food equip. stuff. Veggie will work, but it will gum up over time.
Just a little shot of veggie oil does the trick on mine.

Damned thing was gummy when I got out of the package...It probably wont get used too often so mineral oil is probably the best choice since it wont go rancid (I think)...Thats what I use on my cutting boards...
I don't use anything on mine. I store it disassembled in a zip loc bag, then when it is time to inject, I dip the plunger in my injection juice to lube it.
I use mine at least once a month, and it's kept in a baggy. I don't have the "gum up" issues with mine. I suppose if you left it for 4-6 months it would get a bit "gummy".
