    Chicken paprikash illustrated...

Using leg quarters, thighs and drummies. Clean 'em up remove fat and some skin.

    OK "mess in place"

Make a coating of equal parts flour and good paprika, and add appropriate salt, CBP for the amount of chicken.

Dump in the parts and coat 'em up

Slice up an onion and put into some hot fat. In this case "Butter flavored Crisco" and sautee' till translucent.

    Add chicken hunks...

and keep an eye on it for turning!

Once browned up add chicken stock, cover and simmer...

Next installment..the noodles and the fork!

OK - the noodles... or "gomboc"

                      2 cups flour
                      2 eggs
                      2 large tablespoons sour cream
                      .25 cup warm water
1.5 teaspoon salt- I use a tablespoon of chicken bullion for flavor here.

Mix it all up well. Stuff should be stiff... like park a spoon in it stiff. Save that spoon!

Boil a half gallon water in a big pot. Rolling boil

And stand over it, dipping the spoon in the water and cutting off .25 to .5 teaspoon hunks of dough into water.

When they float, give them another min, mixing with a slotted spoon and remove...and carry on.

OK... no plated pix, as it's for tomarrow... but you get the pict.

Add a couple tablespoons sour cream to the chicken/sauce and serve over the warmed noodles.

This stuff is EXCELLENT! Give it a try!
