  • Sunday Night Tri-Tip Abuse (For The Family)

    I did not see the "Hot outta the oven" area to put this in...

    I would like to report a case of Tri-Tip abuse..... It was me.... The fam damily wanted the Sunday night beef & gravy thingy, so I pulled out about 3 lbs of Tri-Tip steaks & made em happy.... I feel like such a Nancy boy when baking.... Just call me Scotty Crocker....

    But, if you have never tried this method/recipe, it has been made in my family for years & is awesome..... Works equally as well on Pork & Chicken.....

    * Dredge meat of choice in seasoned flour, Kosher, CBP & Mad Hunky.

    * Brown all sides in Butter/EVOO

    * Cover with 1 or 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup (depending on size of baking dish & meat, mixed with milk to make a gravy consistancy.

    * Cover & Bake @ 275* for 2 hours

    Serve with rice, potatoes or noodles..... Make a double batch & mix left over meat & gravy with the rice, potatoes or noodles & freeze for another dinner.

    Brown up 2" chunks

    Soup Pour Cam

    This stuff just about falls apart

    Dinner in a couple of weeks, or months

        DAMN!

        That is some rib-stickin' lookin' stuff. Kinda like country fried steak...on steroids. I think onions and sauteed shrooms.

        Good looking grub.
