  • Tri Tip French Dips, then Tri Tip Tacos

    My wife and I felt like a good french tip, so I ran to the store and picked up this overpriced tri tip





    Librally applied garlic salt & pepper, then a dusting of Mad Hunky


    Quick 5 minute sear on each side


    Sliced as thin as I could by hand. Nice texture outside, and extra rare in the middle


    A little bit of beef broth and dales steak seasoning

    we had plenty left, so the following day, we cut it up thin, and made some tacos

      Oh looks wonderful. The only thing missing for me is a load of onion and green peppers on the bun. Great Job!

        Wow! Just ordered some tri tip from a neighbor butcher, never had it. He's telling me he'll hook me up. We'll see about that..
        Meanwhile, what a great post! Both parts deserve
        Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
        My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
