super bowl smoked almonds

so i had a three pound bag off almonds, i figured while the smokers are going



the bowl on the right has 4 cups of hot water, 1/2 cup of kosher salt, 2 table spoons of chipotle pepper and 1 1/2 pounds of almonds

the bowl on the left contains 4 cups hot water, 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of chipotle pepper and 1 1/2 pounds of almonds

nothin' fancy mixed the salted and sweet nuts together for a mix blend

and i know everyone at the party is going to "love my nuts"
