            If i am reading this right the last rule says no alcohol allowed on site?

                Funny...Registrations are at Noon, not midnight. I'll bet you are sleepy right about now if you were up at midnight.

                Roadmaster BBQ will be signing up for the Evergreen Park, IL comp. 2 hour drive is much better than the 4 hour+ trip to Traverse City...

                  Anybody here have any problems getting in?
                  I registered at Noon and had no problem getting into the Evergreen Park, Ill comp.

                        Looks like they one in my back yard in July.. (Fort Worth)... But the one in May down in Austin is appealing!!!

                          I guess I should ask this.. Since there is very few and I mean few KCBS events in Texas, Do I have to be a member of KCBS??

                            Yes I found that out today when I tried to sign up for Loveland Colorado event.

                            I did join and then sign up for Loveland, but was pissed that it did not say that upfront. Another KCBS money grab IMO. But I will try it for a year and see if it is worth the 35 bucks. Last time I was a member I did not think it was worth it and stopped for 6 years. So we will see.

                              I have not seen more than one maybe two comps here in Texas that are KCBS that are within driving to..

                              I will stew on this for a bit and see if I want to jump in.. KCBS Rules and Texas BBQ is like water and oil..
