  • Beef Ribs, 3 ways (qview)

    I already introduced these in a jerky post I have going, but this update is only the ribs, and well, they're beef, and they don't belong in the jerky forum!

    Had em on for 2 hours, got em out and foiled, giving em another hour

    Here's the the sweet chili sauce -


    The mojo -


    And the steak rub -


    Can't wait to give the taste test! 1/2 hour to go!!

                Finishing this one up...

                2 hours in the smoke, 1.5 hours in foil. The sweet chili got a splash of more sauce diluted with water in the foil. The mojo got a splash diluted with Newcastle. The steak rub got a splash of (undiluted) Newcastle.

                Where I wouldn't turn away any one of them, the steak rub was the unanimous favorite in the family sampling, followed by a tossup between the sweet chili and the mojo.
