There was a recent thread from TasunkaWitko about Shrimp Scampi with a very smooth Veal Marsala hijack from Richtee in there somewhere, that inspired this dish.
Shrimp Scampi with Venison Marsala
Both of these dishes include butter, olive oil, shallots and garlic to start. They both are fast moving dishes so I had to get my mice in place.
Really a great combo. My shrimp got done a little quicker than I anticipated and kept me from getting the Marsala sauce as thick as I wanted. Should have done the corn starch thing with it.
Mice in place. Marsala wine and home made venison stock for the sauce.
