  • Insulated rotisserie

I think we have made enough progress on the new cooker build to post some pics.

It is two 500 gallon tanks that will each have a rotisserie. It will be insulated. There should be room on the trailer for a grill and one of the propane griddles.

Still have a long way to go, but definately getting there. Really excited to get it done and cooking.

    Thanks for looking.

    What the tanks started as

    What the trailer started as

    Down to the frame

The trailer has since been sandblasted and painted, haven't got a pic of that yet.

    Phil, getting it put together

I'll get some more and better pics as it goes along.

Well, the hope is to get some side jobs. I've got a niece graduating from high school this year and we have an anniversary party in September that we have been asked to cook for.

Also, I'm checking into a foodstand at the county fair this summer.

Everything. The fireboxes and heat/smoke chase will have 1" superwool and the tanks will have 1/2" superwool.

Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to her maiden voyage.

CA, going to be a stick burner. The welding guy said the design lends itself well to a propane conversion, when I get tired of tending fires. But, for now, it will be wood.

                          b_n_c, just one steer??

                            Update:

They got the fireboxes started and flipped the rig over. Phil is cutting one of the door openings.
