Richtee 02-17-2011, 10:48 AM Got a link? northern greenhorn 02-17-2011, 10:50 AM http://stufz.net/ Fishawn 02-17-2011, 10:54 AM Looks pretty sweet! ..... Been stuffing them "freehand" for a while, I bet that Stufz stuffer would be even better... Thanks for the link :thumb: Richtee 02-17-2011, 10:55 AM Ahh I HAVE seen that! No, no help with a review, but it sure looks cool. "Fatty discs"! new smoke 02-17-2011, 10:56 AM I've never used one, but that looks cool. Last time I tried to stuff some burgers I didn't get a good seal and all the cheese just cooked out. I'm interested to know how it works. blues_n_cues 02-17-2011, 10:57 AM i've got a different brand i keep forgetting about. haven't used it yet, thanks for the reminder. chefrob 02-17-2011, 11:00 AM there is a learning curve for the first couple but then it works pretty good. i will say that if you use cooking spray it will release the burger much easier. bacon, mushrooms, fresh japs and jap-jack chz seems to be my favorite. Whisky Fish 02-17-2011, 11:08 AM Can't wait to see what you come up with. moselle 02-17-2011, 11:10 AM Very cool! Post pictures for sure! curious aardvark 02-17-2011, 11:12 AM interesting. Looks like fun :-) Fishawn 02-17-2011, 11:20 AM "Fatty discs"! :hail: YES!....... :hail: MichChef 02-17-2011, 11:37 AM Man. I'm gonna have to order me a couple of those. One for at home and one for up at the lake for campfire burgers. Now I'm going to have to start makin a list of all the different burgers I'll want to try. Maybe grind up som different meats too like ham or corned beef. Thanks! Dysartsmoker 02-17-2011, 12:31 PM Have had one sitting in the cupboard for 5 plus months never used it yet maybe this weekend Pandemonium 02-17-2011, 12:56 PM A regular burger is fine by me:welcome: rbranstner 02-17-2011, 01:15 PM Yes I have one and I love it. So much easier than making them by hand. Just watch how much burger you put in them as they can get out of hand pretty quick. shellbellc 02-17-2011, 01:46 PM Do I order or don't I?? They're like little fatty sandwiches!! Hubby is gonna shoot me one of these days! northern greenhorn 02-17-2011, 02:48 PM Man. I'm gonna have to order me a couple of those. Grind some corned beef, stuff with sauerkraut, and swiss cheese. :bounce: new smoke 02-17-2011, 02:53 PM Grind some corned beef, stuff with sauerkraut, and swiss cheese. :bounce: OOOHHHH...that does sound good. Can't get enough of the ruebens.:drooling: Great idea. MichChef 02-17-2011, 02:55 PM Grind some corned beef, stuff with sauerkraut, and swiss cheese. :bounce: What do think I was thinking of? But then you smoke them and have a Pastrami Reuben! northern greenhorn 02-17-2011, 03:09 PM What do think I was thinking of? But then you smoke them and have a Pastrami Reuben! It'll still be awesome MossyMO 02-17-2011, 03:54 PM I have one, it works great and love it! I highly suggest getting one, your guests will be so impressed with how uniform the burger is and tightly sealed until the first bite is dripping down their chin. This makes a big thick burger when full of stuffing; one is more than plenty, two of these at one sitting would be outrageous... HawgHeaven 02-17-2011, 04:07 PM Do I order or don't I?? They're like little fatty sandwiches!! Hubby is gonna shoot me one of these days! Shell, hubby ain't gonna shoot you if you keep feeding him yummy stuff! :drooling: Dat ting looks like a pretty cool tool... I might have to pull the trigger on that one! :thumb: SOB 02-17-2011, 04:38 PM I too ordered a stufz burger stuffer and had a ball using it! Heres a look at the fixins,80/20 ground chuck with some homemade BBQ sauce mixed in to give it a little sticky- ness. I've also found that a little liquid of some kind(A-1, BBQ sauce,Ect...) mixed with the meat will help it release from the mold bettere. We've got cooked bacon, canned mushrooms, chopped onions, blue cheese crumbles, and sliced smoked provalone cheese! Made the cheese me-self me did! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0636.jpg Here is the unit...made of some pretty tough plastic. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0637.jpg Inside http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0638.jpg Here is the first patty after being flattened then the center pushed down to make the pocket.Approximately 1/3 of a pound of meat....more on the bottom makes for a deeper pocket. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0639.jpg the meat pushes up along side the center plunger as you push it down. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0640.jpg In goes some bacon... http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0641.jpg Now the Onions http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0642.jpg And some cheese trimed to fit in the pocket. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0643.jpg Next place another small sized patty in the top of the unit...close it and push the top down to flatten and seal it up. The unit comes with a sheet of instructions. It takes a few times but it definently gets easier each time http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0644.jpg Flip it over and press the bottom out. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0645.jpg The bottom comes all the way out. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0646.jpg peel the bottom off... http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0647.jpg And I like to hand work the burger to help seal any visible seams that might be on it. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0648.jpg Here it is!! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0649.jpg Almost 3/4 of a pound of bacon, onion and cheese filled yumminess! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0650.jpg I also made 3 bacon mushroom and bluecheese stuffed burgers( they have the bluecheese crumble on them). http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0656.jpg In to the drum with some Pecan smoke rollin! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0658.jpg Here they are after the flip! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0659.jpg Just about time!!!! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0660.jpg Here they are fresh off the drum! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0662.jpg MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm!!!! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0665.jpg And the plate! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0667.jpg A close up! http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0668.jpg And once more... in case you missed that last pic. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv267/m0kwarnke/Smoked%20Beef/DSCN0669.jpg Enjoy!! SOB ] smoking paul 02-17-2011, 04:44 PM Yea I have one and it is GREAT!!! min hamburger should be about 1/3 lb to get the best 1/2lb you need to try it as the more hamb you use the less stuffing you can get in. Make sure the "lid" is sealed good as they will "leak" lol in the BBQ. They are Little Fatties and you can use what ever you put into a fat. Enjoy shellbellc 02-17-2011, 04:44 PM Shell, hubby ain't gonna shoot you if you keep feeding him yummy stuff!
