I just ordered the "Stufz" to make burgers, and was wondering if anyone else had this product, and what they thought of it?

I've never used one, but that looks cool.

Last time I tried to stuff some burgers I didn't get a good seal and all the cheese just cooked out.

I'm interested to know how it works.

there is a learning curve for the first couple but then it works pretty good. i will say that if you use cooking spray it will release the burger much easier. bacon, mushrooms, fresh japs and jap-jack chz seems to be my favorite.

Man. I'm gonna have to order me a couple of those. One for at home and one for up at the lake for campfire burgers.
Now I'm going to have to start makin a list of all the different burgers I'll want to try. Maybe grind up som different meats too like ham or corned beef.

Yes I have one and I love it. So much easier than making them by hand. Just watch how much burger you put in them as they can get out of hand pretty quick.

I have one, it works great and love it!
I highly suggest getting one, your guests will be so impressed with how uniform the burger is and tightly sealed until the first bite is dripping down their chin. This makes a big thick burger when full of stuffing; one is more than plenty, two of these at one sitting would be outrageous...

I too ordered a stufz burger stuffer and had a ball using it!

Heres a look at the fixins,80/20 ground chuck with some homemade BBQ sauce mixed in to give it a little sticky- ness. I've also found that a little liquid of some kind(A-1, BBQ sauce,Ect...) mixed with the meat will help it release from the mold bettere. We've got cooked bacon,canned mushrooms,chopped onions,blue cheese crumbles, and sliced smoked provalone cheese! Made the cheese me-self me did!

Here is the first patty after being flattened then the center pushed down to make the pocket.Approximately 1/3 of a pound of meat....more on the bottom makes for a deeper pocket.

Next place another small sized patty in the top of the unit...close it and push the top down to flatten and seal it up. The unit comes with a sheet of instructions. It takes a few times but it definently gets easier each time

Flip it over and press the bottom out.

Yea I have one and it is GREAT!!!
min hamburger should be about 1/3 lb to get the best 1/2lb
you need to try it as the more hamb you use the less stuffing you can get in.
Make sure the "lid" is sealed good as they will "leak" lol in the BBQ.
They are Little Fatties and you can use what ever you put into a fat.

ANd after seeing SOB's pict tutorial I think I'm sold on this!! Those burgers look awesome!!

We have made stuffed burgers a couple of times with ours and love it. The last time we did a chicken cordon blue knock off and used ground turkey and stuffed with ham and cheese and then coated it with some seasoned bread crumbs. It was excellent!!

BTW, got mine in the mail last week, seems to be pretty sturdy plastic. I was going to do this on Sunday but now they're calling for down pours all day...I already know that the boys will be stuffed with baked beans, bacon, and cheese, hubs, mushrooms and fresh onion and japs, mine, bacon and cheese and some A1. Can't wait to try it!
