  • Another smoker build by WesTern SmOkerS

Here is another smoker build for a local guy you all know. It is a 48" reverse flow horizontal smoker with a couple tweaks that I think will make it a one of a kind. I will elaborate later on the one of a kind parts later in the build.

The gauge is 3/16th I was going to go with 1/4 but it is terrible expensive right now and I wanted to keep the cost to a dull roar and still turn out a good smoker. So it will be a 1/16 short

I came up with the shape because I didn't want to pay someone to roll the sheet so I tried to figure a way to do it with a break. with flaring the back and front I should be able to fit a bigger cooking rack then normal in her. Top and bttm racks are about 15 sqft together. Not bad for a 48" smoker

looking good, good, good! i like the unique design and the concept seems good, too ~ i'm thinking that you and the buyer should give it a trial run during a day or two of fishing on the yellowstone or missouri river....

I like the height of the smoking chamber. Maybe a sausage hanging mod?
