  • I'm Styling Now

The big brown truck stopped at the house over the weekend. He allways leaves something cool.

Just purchased the Maverick ET-73, and the Taylor 1470 Digital Thermometers. Hope they work good.

You should be in good shape now, let me know how the Taylor works out.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

Thats a good tip. How long do they last in cold temps.?

Like every other electronics that have batteries, not long. I hope the thermometers last longer. I can deal with replacing batteries.

Actually, they ain't too bad on bats, even in cold weather. They consume very little current. The wireless ones are a different story tho...

You mean like outside outside, or in the shed outside? Mine live in my shed year round... never seemed to bother them. In fact, my first ET-73 (5 years old) just got it's second set of replacement batteries about 2 weeks ago, only because I forgot to turn it off the last time I used it.

Congrats, and good luck with your new toys!!
