  • stocking up on pecan

I am looking for my camera. Bill or terrie must have it with all the photos they are taking after they left here.

we miss them already, Hunter just loves terrie she is the only one that pets him I guess.
any ways. 2 clicks from the shack there is a huge pecan orchard, and the owner is cutting it way back. I think there must be 300 cords laying on the ground. from 4" to smaller. I went and asked if I could have some. he said thank you for asking and take it all, he was going to mulch it and till it back into the soil.
Hunter and I started cutting sat and every day untill wensday. just logs and loaded them the yard is full. now to cut them to fire logs and split em.
I got to get a foto and post it.

any one have plans fo a log cutting saw horse???

Nice score! I use a lot of pecan. Just chunks, not logs or splits. Good stuff.

I can get it for free around here sometimes on the free section of craigslist. I'm almost out. Close to hickory. makes a great brisket.

                      Nice score!
