    Golf Tournament Gig

    Got me a fairly big one coming up on March 3rd. Gonna be a pulled smoked chicken wrap for the walkaway lunch followed up with a big spread for the dinner. It's the 2nd annual local chapter of the Special Forces Association's golf tournament. They have adopted me as their BBQ guy and this is my 2nd year doing this event. The dinner will be a 2-bone rib plate with PP sammie, my baked beans, roasted red potato salad, and coleslaw. Lots of work, but got some volunteer servers.

    Cook starts tomorrow morning, will be photo documented for 2 reasons: to share with y'all and to get some original pics for my website. More to follow...

                    Chicken finally on after a very late start. Not even gonna try to get the butts and ribs going today. Gonna skin the ribs and trim them up tonight for a start bright and early tomorrow, will start this thread anew with some pics tomorrow...
