ha! filled up all the spaces that time..........:thumb:

70 deg in the winter and after doing yard work all day i wanted some sugar and not just any sugar so i ended up making this.....

split a cake in half and fit bottom into spring form pan

pulled out the ice cream maker, if yer in the market this is a good one with out shelling out $500-$600.

cooled the custard and started it up.....

when nobody is looking sneak a taste with a cinnamon twist.....

ice cream layer........

top with other layer and into the freezer......

unmolded and ready for meringue........

crumb coat and back into the freezer..........

that looks great, has been something i always wanted to try, never much into cakes though but may have to try this one... beautiful looking presentation to!!! not just something to eat, a work of art and delicious i am sure.poi-nts

ps, i got one a those i.c. makers just like that... dont think its ever been used. sheesh!!!

charcoal, sulfur, saltpeter, and honey makes gunpowder, although tightly packed saltpeter does the trick quite well.

Just fabulous - and that's some moist looking chocolate cake as well.
And man am I envious of the way you and bob just casually produce such artisticly served food.

thx for the comments.........and to think i wasn't going to post this cuz i didn't think my piping was all that good, see what a good torching will do! LMAO! really this is not difficult to do, just some basic simple techniques to put it together.

and yes Mo, no special occasion.....just wanted some decent sugar.

Wow Chef...that's some amazing skills on display right there. That plated pic is art...but I'd destroy it in about 2 seconds.

Good for you for having a rescue dog...wish more people would open their hearts and go that route. I can tell that baby has won the doggie lottery going to your house. I've Rescued 3 so far.

You have to start spreading these posts out...won't let me give you your well deserved poi-nts...says I gotta spread 'em around...I'll do that and come back. :thumb:
