  • Looks Like A Pork Spare Rib Weekend

Publix has pork spares for $1.59 a pound so I think I'll pick up 10 lbs or so.

Never done spare ribs, any suggestions on how to prepare them or can I smoke them the same way as baby backs ?

Thanks for the link Gene, and thanks to erain for posting it. I believe they're already St. Louis cut, but if not that's the way I'm going to go.

Solar - I used to do spares all the time before finding the baby backs and have purchased many slabs from Publix. The ones I bought I ended up having to trim St. Louis style but overall, the quality of the meat was really good.

That is a great price on ribs ... the normal sale price I've seen @ Publix was $1.99/lb. The price you're getting is even better!!
