  • Smoked string cheese?....Really?...

    string cheese....I mean who eats that stuff...really it has no flavor...especially the low fat stuff that Lena has been eating....Well no flavor till now....

    After...not much difference...45 minutes is about all these things will take...unless ya like a really strong smoke on yer cheese...these were smoked with cherry...


    And Lena peeling one right after the smoke...These dont need to wait for weeks before eating them...theyre good straight away...


    Well thats how we make string cheese enjoyable...

      Nice work Craiger..... It is good stuff I have used Alder, but will try some Cherry..... Tell Lena, next time we gonna wrap it in sausage & Mad Hunky then smoke it..... That's diet food for ya

              Nice! Does smoke flavor add calories?
              Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
              My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

                    Cheese looks nicely smoked.
                    The last time I smoked string cheese I had every intention of battering and frying to see if I could get mozz sticks with a smoky flavor but they never made it that far.
