    Pick up a 14lb brisket last night at wally world. Paid $1.86 for this thing.

        Looks great so far. Can't wait to see the results.
        You have a 14 lb brisket to do, I have 14 briskets to do next weekend for our church. Also doing a butt to pull and add to the 5 gallons of pit beans.
        I'll pass on the sear though. Too many to mess with that.
        I might try to sneak one of my longhorn/angus briskets in too.

              I put it on about 9am and pulled it off about 4:15. I went out to eat with some folks to a bbq joint tonight and cut a few slices and brought it with me. I can't say I'll be back to that place again. BBQ wasn't that good and the ribs tasted like they came out of the oven. It was a buffet and I only had one plate. Even if it was halfway good I would have had two plates. Ain't nothing like doing your own!!!!
