Anyone have a good steak seasoning recipe? I ran out of the one that was in the cabinet, and want to make some to use tonight

Thanks, I just threw some spices together, it's starting to rain here, so I wanted to get these on the grill.

Ahhh glad ya brought that back up, as it does not have the fennel usually found in the Montreal. I'm gonna mix a batch of this up! :thumb:

I wanna mix this one up also..... As the Montreal seasonings I have are pretty "chunky", which I don't really like & will "process" it a bit more in the spice mill.... How much fennel are you thinking with the given recipe?

Usually pretty heavy. I'd start at a Tablespoon.

My girl child makes one we keep in a large SS shaker on the table she calls it her "special secert" we like it and use it on beef for the grill and salads ect.

1/3sea salt 1/3 granulated garlic 1/3fine grind Black pepper, mix and use. I like the course black pepper. need to find time to drill larger holes in the top of the shaker.

After that last steak cook I did I'm liking the Mad Hunky Meat rub with some pepper. Now all we have to do is convince Rich to post the recipe. :banana_smiley: Kidding Rich!

Really... Magic dust is close. It's missing 2 ingredients and a bit different proportions. To me, for beef...Magic and some rosemary, extra thyme and more CBP. Just sayin.
