I will keep an eye out for that one next year. Too late for planning that into this years schedule. Looks like a fun place for a comp.

              More details....

Here is our link to all the "details" on check-in etc... http://westx.org/bbqx_gen_info.pdf

              Teams so far are:

              Smokin in Mesquite (Mesquite, NV)
              Great Basin (Logandale, NV)
              Smokin' up the River (NV)

              Pork U (St. George, UT)
              D.U.B.S BBQ (St. George, UT)
              Rockin C BBQ (Ogden, UT)
              R & R BBQ (Alpine, UT)

              I have received calls from:
2 teams from Texas making arrangements/considering (stopping in on their way to Vegas for the big one)
              4 teams from California considering
              2 teams from AZ considering
1 more team from Nevada considering

Several teams have expressed that they want to make sure we are a qualifier.
If all of these teams come in we will more than qualify for the Draw. Lets get this done! If you pull the trigger, others will follow!!!

We want you all to know that we are extremely committed to making this a successful competition, don't miss out on all the fun!!

Hope to see you at WestX!!!

I talked to James tonight and they have 13 teams registered and 2 of which will split if necessary to make 15 but it will be a qualifier with at least 15 teams - if you are on the fence come on out - $250 entry fee - $10,000 prize money paying thru 10th place.
