  • My New Good One Rodeo Arrives Tomorrow!!!

And I am all a quiver in anticipation! Sometime after 1PM Wednesday, a truck will arrive with 510 pounds of smoking beauty and place it in my driveway. Then the fun begins! Pics to follow!

    What to cook....what to cook.....

Of all the smokers i've looked at, these The Good One Smokers seem really underrated.

They're at my nearest BBQ supply shop, and Chris Marks comes to do classes on these things a few times a year.

I did a review on their lump charcoal recently, and it's the best I've used so far. As well as their Memphis Style, and Kansas City Sweet rubs.

I believe you made an excellent choice. Jealous!

            Hey, good on ya, SD!
I checked out the link and thought - Hell, I could build one of those...
I'm thinking that if a guy crossed a GO with BBQ E's insulated job.... WOOO WEEEEE!

Can't wait to hear your review and see your first smoke.

Here's an update. Just got a call from the trucking co. The cooker is just in Pennsylvania, so no delivery till tomorrow :( . Hopefully. I've waited this long, another day won't kill me. Thanks for the responses so far. What I liked about these cookers was the capacity and the stacked racks, also the offset fire box. Kinda like a big Bandera. See you tomorrow with some pics.
