  • My Good One Rodeo Has Landed! Pics Soon!

The Rodeo Has Landed, a day late but that's OK! Preliminary inspection shows no shipping damage and it is in my tiny garage in the process of being unpacked.
Looks to be a good quality build with PLENTY of cooking capacity, and 4 detachable side shelves, which was a surprise to me, thought it came with just two. Has nice black face 3" Tel-Tru Thermo which I just calibrated against a Thermapen, yellow, for those curios ones out there. Anyway, back to the un-packing and getting this thing off of the pallet. Pictures are now up for all to see, they are later in this thread.

          Well here are some pics.

Here is the shipping box. The bottle of Negra Modelo is there for scale purposes only! Not gonna be drinking a beer when there is a new toy to be opened!

          My first glimpse.

          Front view.

Side view showing damper control handle.

Inside fire box with heavy duty grate. Those two rectangular holes near the top are cold air returns from the smoke chamber, kind of a convection effect they say.

          A front view showing the grates. 3 are 21" x 41" and the top one is 17" x 41"

That's all I have for now. Tomorrow afternoon may be the washing and oiling and seasoning. if not I'll have to wait until Saturday afternoon. Dang working for a living!

i'd stock up on wood and lump.......the marshall i cooked on was a little hungry. i noticed the damper control is different. the marshal i cooked on was 3" plates that screwed in and out......i wonder if they changed that on all of them.
