nice Jim!!! with walleye you dont need much. matter of fact with winter fish from cold water like you had here i would say less is more. nice job on the eyes. dont freezem any more either. eat them right fresh, give a few away to my elderly neighbor and my mother. gives good excuse to go out again too!!

great job on the cookinand nice chromer there too! got a flyrod and never used it yet, think it been about 10 years... good incentive man

might have to head up that way sometimes and give that a shot...

well fly fishermen turn there noses up at me and most the guys on the river, I have my reel spooled with mono and mostly just drift yarn on the bottom.

Its getting twords the end of the season now the suckers are in the river along with the trout, but there are a few bright fish around still

Good looking plate of walleye. I still have some in the freezer also, along with some bass, bluegill and crappie. Damn, sounds like a fish fry!

                      Way to go Jim!!!

I must admit, I have never had walleye. Sounds yummy though. Especially cooked in duck fat. I have a 7 lb. pail in the fridge, looks like I need to find me a fishin' hole close by.

Stop loaning Rich your camera, you never know what he might be doing to it.

fantastic, I really like Walleye, and cooking it in duckfat is brilliant.

Just because you welded some shit together doesnt make it a WSM.

spose them be those fly fishin purists with the 300 doller vests and the fly boxes full of wooly buggers etc. etc... dont matter to me what kinda line you got on your flyrod or whatever. love all kinds a fishing whether be jigging, still, trolling, downrigging, whatever trips the fishes trigger that day. wanna even try the fly fishing a bit someday... was planning on starting out on bluegills for some close to home action.
