  • Momas Day Chicken en Ribs

    Had a few people over today for Mothers Day,my mom T's dad and stepmom a couple of our kids and and a couple friends and thier kids.
    Started out last night preping three racks did two with mad hunky and one with Rudy;s Oiled them up and applied a thick coating of rub


    Fired up the Wsm this morning and threw them on for threehrs before foiling .sprayed em with apple juice every hour
    Just before foiling

    Left them in the foil for an Hour then sauced them and smoked for another hour.

    An hour before the ribs were done I injected and rubbed about 40 peices of chicken.used Lemon butter for the injection and a home made chicken rub took two 22.5 '' kettles to fit it all

    grilled for about 45 minand sauced for a half hr more

      Rudy's has a rub too ehhh... real fine looking Moms day smoke... way to power smoke/grill the chicken pieces on the webers!!! i got heading your way soon as the points nazis release them buddy!!!

                        Actually was about 6 peices of chicken that was awsome cold for lunch today and the guest;s didnt know it but I hid one whole rack for me

                          You're not done yet, saw this post at work today and couldn't respond. Some more a comin' your way. Nice feast!
                          Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
                          My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
