  • Gratitude Campaign

Michael Hall, (me)... is retired from the Air Force. One son Mitchell served in the Army National Guard for 8 years, Matthew, served active & is in the Air Force Reserve. This is an awesome gesture this man has come up with to show his deepest appreciation for our Service Members. I know we have members on this forum that can understand this. I personally am moved.

This is very neat......(30 second video)... Have you ever seen one of our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure how or it felt awkward?

Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and has started a movement to get the word out.

Please everybody take just 30 seconds to watch.... The Gratitude Campaign; ....and then forward it to your friends! THEN START USING THE SIGN.

        Very cool.
It's just too bad folks can't actually say it. But if that sign conveys the recognition deserved, it would be great. As a matter-of-fact, here's one for you, your boys, and anyone else that has served.

              That is so simple! Duh!
My daughter and I know a little sign language and that being one of the obvious signs you teach a little one! That will be much easier than trying to say it with tears running down your face barely being able to mutter thank you!

                      This is great.

I have a good friend of mine that is heading out for his 3rd tour of Afganastan in Sept.
We're all a little afraid for him.

                      Prayers please
