Smoky Shrooms, Amish Sausage and a No Roll Fattie

[Fire it up]

An Amish market just opened 2 weeks ago in the next town over and so finally I have an option of good priced and good quality meats and seasonings in Jersey.

So opening weekend (before their grand opening) I went with Moms to check them out and picked up a few things to smoke.

They had tons of spices at amazing prices, only got a few but all great quality and price I will get all my spices here from now on. Also have pork bellies so I can finally make bacon



Picked up some of their smoked cheeses and the smoked pepper jack was amazing so I stuffed that inside of some mushrooms that I wrapped in sweet Italian sausage





Did a no-roll fattie just slicing down the middle and adding goodies.
To the sweet Ital sausage I added marinated garlic, mozzarella and mushrooms.



Couple of Amish garlic grillers and shrooms with smoked pepper jack and wrapped in sausauge, delicious.













On some fresh baked Amish bread

the only thing I'd not have bought there was the smoked paprika.

I buy 1lb tubs of paprika from costco for around $5. I smoke the whole jar.

You've got a smoker, paprika can be hot or cold smoked - both work as well as each other.
