  • Croissants from Scratch.....DAMN they are GOOD!!!

I am making my official announcement of being absolutely in love with warm, fresh from the oven, made from scratch croissants. Croissants are not hard to make, they are time consuming but well worth it. Here's a few pics of the process. I started them last night making the dough and flattening out the butter. After each "turn" the dough had to go back in the fridge for a couple of hours. Just took them outta the oven.

Thanks for checking out my goodies!

Here's the recipe I followed. As I said, not hard to do, but you've got to have patience. I like to make French toast with them. Maybe I'll make some tomorrow and post. Yummmmm.......... I'm not supposed to be eating carbs, but it's a holiday weekend.

I also would like to make them wearing a cute French maid outfit.
