National brisket day eh? How cool..Well then I guess this isnt so boring after all...
I got a 14# packer and two butts that needed to get out of my freezer and into my smoker...We will slice some of the brisket for dinner tomorrow and the rest will be pulled for my sweet wife to take to work and share with the gals she works with...
Here they are just in...Started just around noon...Could be a long night...
And about four hours in they are starting to look good...The smell is amazing...Cookin with hickory...Ive been burning pecan for so long I almost forgot how much I love the smell of hickory...
