Grabbed up a nice 3 pack of ribeyes from Caputo's in Naperville. (3) nice bone in steaks for about $12, a steal.
I let the steaks rest for about 30 minutes out of the fridge, and then seasoned them with kosher salt, black pepper and a dash of cajun seasoning and let them rest another 15 minutes. Kettle was roaring hot, and (2) of the steaks were done about 2.5 minutes per side to get a perfect rare-medium rare temp. The other steak for my wife was well done...
Correctly cooked steaks were great, juicy, beefy, nice. Daughter grabbed the steak bones and stripped them down after she was done with the steak I had cut up for her.
Served these steaks with a loaded baked potato, a salad, & some peas. I also grilled some fish(mahi & flounder) which I topped with a shrimp creole sauce(pics sucked).
